@sam.parish.food

Sam Parish is a chef, food writer, editor and cookbook author with over a decade of experience across professional kitchens and food media. She has worked as a chef in a range of settings, including time at Google, before moving into food publishing and editorial roles. Formerly a food editor at delicious. Australia, Sam has written, developed recipes and styled food for leading publications across Australasia.

After five years living and working in New Zealand, Sam returned to Australia and now calls Brisbane home. As both a chef and an editor, she brings an informed and considered perspective to the city’s dining scene, grounded in close industry relationships and a deep respect for the craft of hospitality.

Sam is the author of COOK ME, released in 2022 and now sold internationally, including a French edition published in 2024. Her background across kitchens and publishing underpins every part of Chefs Eat Brisbane, allowing chefs’ stories to be told with honesty, care and credibility.

Her work focuses on capturing hospitality as it is lived — from the pressure and creativity of service to the quieter moments that define a career in food. Through long-form interviews and storytelling, she gives chefs the space to be seen beyond the pass and understood on their own terms.

Andy Lewis award winning Food Photographer Australia

Andy Lewis is an Australian food and hospitality photographer known for his natural, story-driven approach. His work focuses on light, texture and the quiet moments behind service — kitchens mid-prep, hands at work, and the details that define a restaurant’s identity.

With extensive experience photographing chefs, restaurants and food producers, Andy’s imagery sits at the intersection of documentary and editorial, favouring authenticity over polish.

As the lead photographer for Chefs Eat, Andy captures each venue and chef in their own environment, creating a cohesive visual record of Australia’s dining scene while allowing every story to retain its individuality.
